Summer is here! So what does this mean for my beloved readers? 

For starters, I'm taking July off. Yes, the entire month! I plan to spend some time at one of the beautiful Finger Lakes swimming and boating with the kids and grandkids. The rest of the month I hope to read more and relax. I'll be back writing in August.

What do I have planned for you after that?

Before I answer this, I hope you've read the first 4 books in my new Clans of Mull series. If not, you may not understand all I'm about to say. SPOILER ALERT! Proceed with caution. Some of this relates to Book 4. 

What's next? 

1. Finish the Clans of Mull series. I am working on Book 5, Taskill MacVey and Sheona Rankin's story. I promise no more bairn kidnappings!  Book 6 will be a novella, working title: Yuletide for Magni   That's as far as I go in that series–for now. I can always come back and add Mora's story or Brian's but in the future. 

2. What comes after the Clans of Mull? I have two possible series begging to be written. 

        a.  Begin the story of the 4th generation. Main characters to be: John, Coira, Dyna, Sylvi, Tora, Sandor, and Grant,  of course. 

         b.  A trilogy featuring Hagen, Jowell, and Paden. Hagen is the son of Connor and Sela, Jowell, son of Jamie and Gracie, and Paden, son of Kyla and Finlay. This will bring us back to Clan Grant. Not sure the setting yet. I'm working on it. 

Look for Book 5 in late October, Book 6 in November. Then a new series for 2026. We shall see!
